Vier Jahre sind vergangen seit es >norma and qubed< gibt, das Prinzip >Gewürfelt<: Dem Bandnamen gerecht, entstanden aus einem Stilmix, der im Jazz, Rock und Pop zu Hause ist, unzählige eigene Lieder. Verschiedenste Musiker unterstützten, probierten und arrangierten gemeinsam mit Norma ein überaus abwechslungsreiches Live-Programm.
Nun ist es Zeit, diese musikalische Bandbreite gebührend zu feiern, publik zu machen und einen außerordentlichen Dank auszusprechen: 

Cape Town meets Leipzig

On the world wide web it’s possible to organise all manner of things, such as the meeting between Joshua and Norma; a Jam - Recording - Session of unbelievable harmonies. In only two days we managed to record both our songs for you to sample. These songs are now just crying out to be produced and released to the public!

On Tuesday the 2nd of September, in Erich Zeigner House

On the 2nd September 2008 Norma dedicated a piano concert to the Forikolo e.V. Leipzig in the historical office of the Erich Zeigner House. Approximately 40 invited guests sat quietly as a mouse to hear Norma’s compositions.

The Leipzig based organisation, Forikolo presents this solo concert to raise awareness and funds for building schools and bettering to lives of the children and youth in Sierra Leone.

Tuesday 4th March 2008

On Tuesday the 4th of March 2008 between 8pm and 9pm, ANTENNE THÜRINGEN will broadcast an interview with Norma. You will hear songs such as „Save“ from „Norma-Indian Summer“ and the brand new track „Laughin’ Lines“ from Qubed (live recording from 16.02.08) as part of the interview.

Record Release concert for Norma’s "Indian Summer"

A wonderful concert of jazz/classical/rock music has come and gone. On the historical stage of the old Union-Theatre, Connewitz stood outstanding musicians from Qubed – Norma (piano & vocals), Gerrit Juhnke (drums, vocals & piano), Marko Weißmeyer (guitar & percussion), Martin Dörr (bass), and Stefan Zeitler (saxophone) and special guest Tobias Deutsch (piano).
